Taipei, Taiwan –VIVOTEK (TWSE: 3454), a global leading IP surveillance provider, and Genetec Inc., the leader in unified physical security software, have had a long-standing relationship that has benefitted many customers in IP surveillance. Genetec was among the first video management partners to integrate our 360 fisheye cameras using VIVOTEK’s dewarp fisheye library. In another first, VIVOTEK network video recorders with Core+ 4.0 firmware are now integrated with Genetec Security Center 5.10 driver pack 10.8, providing system integrators and end users with more surveillance flexibility.
VIVOTEK and Genetec customers can take advantage of this integration by reducing total cost of ownership. VIVOTEK Core+ 4.0 NVR’s are available in 4, 8, and 16-channel options with embedded PoE, requiring less hardware at each archiver/substation location. VIVOTEK Core+ 4.0 NVR’s do not require license fees with VIVOTEK IP cameras, further reducing TCO. This VIVOTEK and Genetec collaboration allows end users to expand their surveillance needs with the flexibility to stay within budget, without sacrificing the look, feel, and capabilities of Security Center. For Genetec system integrators, their depth of product offerings has now expanded with these NDAA compliant NVR’s.
Now starting this December, Core+ 4.0 firmware will be available in VIVOTEK NVR models ND9213P, ND9323P, and ND9425P. These will be available through authorized VIVOTEK distributors around the globe. Core+ 4.0 NVR integration is supported on Genetec Security Center version 5.10.
