Shepherd is an efficient device management tool that simplifies camera setup by automatically listing all VIVOTEK devices on a network. Users can group cameras and apply pre-configured settings in bulk. Key features include IP assignment, remote reboot/restore, firmware, and VADP uploads. Ideal for system integrators, Shepherd supports batch firmware updates, exports device lists for NVRs, updates virus signatures, and imports/exports configurations for advanced VCA packages, making it a valuable tool for managing multiple devices simultaneously.
While uploading the package to the camera, users can choose the SD card or Flash storage path by requirement.
Whenever Shepherd initiates, it will automatically search the LAN for VIVOTEK devices and list them all.
Choose DHCP, fixed IP, or assign an IP range for multiple VIVOTEK cameras.
Need to upgrade camera firmware? Update a camera license? Upload VADP packages for more advanced camera functions? Or upload HTTPS/IEEE 802.1X certificates? Shepherd supports the batch performance of all of these functions.
In addition to batch camera firmware upload, Shepherd now also supports batch NVR firmware upload.
Shepherd allows users to restore the specific settings of all selected cameras. Users can also reboot all cameras simultaneously.
Shepherd supports the enabling, disabling and uninstalling of VADP packages, and offers options to import and export Stereo Tracker, Deep Learning VCA and VCA packages configurations.
